Mahaffey is a borough in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in the western part of the county and has a population of approximately 370 people. Mahaffey is home to a post office, several small businesses, and an elementary school. The town is known for its proximity to several state parks and recreational areas, including Parker Dam State Park and the Moshannon State Forest. The town is also a popular destination for hunters and fishermen due to its location in a rural area known for its wildlife. Mahaffey was incorporated in 1868 and was named after the first postmaster, E. F. Mahaffey.
